Default Advice - Driving Instructor Training?

Hey guys,

I'm looking towards a new career path potentially, as much as I enjoy my job, the hours are becoming very long and the need to work every weekend is becoming quite difficult to have a social life around, and I've always liked the idea of becoming a driving instructor.

Does anyone do this for a living? Or can anyone advise on costs to get set up? Salarys and work patterns to see if this is a viable option for me?

I've been for a chat today and sounds quite interesting.

Can anyone shed some "real life" experience on the matter?

Think about when most people have spare time.
