hi there as above cant get the balace right on the subs and amp in the car always sounds pretty crap has any1 got a formula that workss

no i havent as it goes lol
jsut it all wired up but can never seem 2 get the rite balace between all the esettings on the head unit and amp etc haha

ive never managed it either, I let a mate have a play for 10 mins and its spot on! and he wears hearing aids and is still deaf as a door nail.

Do you have the low and high pass filters on the head units m8 as well as on the amp?

What size sub are we talking about, you only want bass coming from the sub (obviously)
so really i think you would want anything at 120hertz and below to only be sent to the sub
i might even of had mine set at 80 but can't honestly remember

lol yeah i dnt know anyone who knows that sort of stuff really haha
so im stuck but i bet it soudns alot better when its all set up properly

make sure u havent got the loud button switched on on the head unit, make sure bass and treble are set to the middle setting etc etc

also dont set the gain on the amp too high... half to 3 quarters should be plenty!!

just because you set up your system to sound good on one cd doesnt mean it will sound good with any others!! lol

its not that hard to get it to sound right take the advice given above and you should be alright
