I am a complete tosspot!

Went to see the mortgage man this morning, parked in the car park got out the car and put my idenfitication and mortgage pack on the roof, decided I wanted to move the car away from the ticket machine so just drove off to another parking space.

Girlfriend tutted at me and picked up the mortgage pack but the identification fell off in another part of the car park.

Neither of us could remember if we had taken it with us or not so just went on as normal.

30 minutes later I get a phone call from my mum saying somebody has rung her as her next of kin information was in the back of my passport saying they had found my bank statements, passport, N.I card, driving license and several utility bills.

Went and collected it from the kind gent and gave him some beer for his troubles.

I have faith in at least one person in Blackpool anyway

To sum up, I am a tosspot!

I know fella, been beating myself up all day about it! Just so glad somebody with some heart found it.

He was happy I was grateful to him and even happier when I gave him some booze later in the day.

bloody hell.......

i did a tosspot thing like that once, pulled up outside the house and put my bank card drving license etc on the roof, and then went in, it was only in the morning when i was going to work, i found em still there as i went to get in..

savage mate never good is it. not quite the same but i was working on the rs one day and had the laptop out with me on the net but put it on the steps as i put all my tools away me and my mate jumps in the car and drove off, got a few streets away and realized what i done, so turned around and boosted it all the way home again and thank god it was still sat on my steps
