use a hair drier and warm up the badges and then carfully slide a plasctic card under em to pull em off without damaging said paint. u'll be left with a foam adhesive , this can be removed a number of ways but the easiest is with an eraser wheel on a drill or u can pick it off with ur thumb and a hair drier and then a good polish to remove any residual adhesive . im sure there are other ways people will put forward . one of which wil work for you . I'd go with the hairdryer idea but rather than using a plastic card I would use a little bit of picture hanging wire or fishing line to cut through the adhesive, I would then T Cut the remaining adhesive away.

as said with dryer but i'd not use steel wire as it has the possibility to scratch the paint, fishing line is good though or strong thread, then i used lighter fluid to get the residue off or auto glym tar spot remover

In the past I've found a kettle full of boiling water softens the glue nicely, allowing the badges to be carefully prized off.

I did this recently on a mates black zodiac and the boiling water turned the paint cloudy fortunately the boot needs a re-paint anyway
