it's a 53 plate 2.4 td lwb rwd with 104k. the problem is that i've noticed that the brake peddle seems 'spongey' and imo don't engage the brakes till at least halfway down the peddle. was using it today, i'm a self employed courior, and now the clutch is playing up aswell, it's just become VERY difficult to get into 1st & 2nd very notchy in the rest. when the engines off it goes into gear no probs so i'm thinking it's gotta be more hydroulics fault. both clutch master & slave cylinders have been changed within the last 3 months both from ford so i could really do with some help? it's been suggested that maybe a rear or both rear brake cylinders need replacing but i'm not sure? and would both the brake and clutch problems be linked? i could really do with some help as this is my livelyhood thanks

well in my experiences with these transits the brake pedals normally go really spongey once the front pads and discs get worn down, i dont know why but it just seems to. mite be worth checking the condition and if you replace them then i would bleed the brakes this normally cures them....
