Default Mondeo TDCI Zetec S INJECTORS?

are the injectors costly to get done on theses engines, how many normally goes or does the whole lot need to be redone? do theses engines have the same problems on the late 03 04 models? cheers hugh

Yes they are costly. Around £180 new each, and about £120-140 for recon ones. Often when one goes the rest follow. What are your symptoms?

Hi Dan, no my mate knows where one is for sale its an 03 one but not sure what its doing though, he's thinking on buying it he was asking me how much the injectors would cost? Dan doyou know if the late 03 mondeo's have the fly wheel problems aswel or is it just the early ones? cheers hugh

None of them have 'problems' as such with the DMF, it's just a costly job to fix if it goes wrong (as it is all DMF equipped cars).

If it's got any problems which are suspected to be fuelling related; cutting out, glow plug light on, etc, then walk away. They're very very tricky to diagnose and you can find yourself throwing hundreds and hundreds at them without finding the solution.
