TWO mental turbo Mk1+2 Escorts!

Check out the inlet plenumn on this Mk1 pinto turbo
But this one made me spit out my drink

When would you EVER think youd see a Mk2 Escort with a huge TRUST front mounted intercooler
But then when did you EVER think youd see one running a big power SR20DET Engine! (Thats a S14 200SX and Pulsar GTIR engine BTW)

both very cool though nice one for finding them
(btw - Yellow one's a mk2 as well - just an rs2000 - hence the pointy front! )

Mark- No, SR14/16DET dont exist, so i dont know what engine you mean
In Nissan engine terminology, the number is the capacity, ie 14 would be 1.4, 20 is 2litre.
DE is twin cam (E is single), and T is turbo.
The first 2 letters are just the engine name, SR, RB, etc

Theres a RB20DET but RB engines are straight 6s and far longer than SRs so cant imagine them using one of them.
SR20DET would be the obvious choice if using a Nissan engine
