Mate ignore all the ones which advertise their services in the papers and on tv as the advertising alone has to come from somewhere and the envelopes they send out cost someone money too........that someone being the poor sod who generally is a bit strapped for cash and gets duped into the easy route to some cash.

One place ive used recently who pays what the rate is on the date they receive the gold is hatton garden metals ( http://www.hattongardenmetals.com/ ). I was worried about who to use but read nothing but good things on the money saving expert website about the above company so took the plunge, did an online quote on the website to give me an idea on what to expect, sent it to them via special delivery, they keep you up to date once they receive it and the money is instantly in your bank account the day they get your gold and as long as the weight is correct youll get what you was quoted obviously dependant on the gold price for the day, sometimes it can be more than when you sent it.

Honestly mate, if you want the best price and a hastle free way to your money fast use them, its a bit of a bum twitch sending off your gold but ill never use anyone else now.............as an example a mate from work said his mrs sent some gold to cash 4 gold from the tv after i told him about hatton garden metals and he was offered about Ł14...........i told him to get it back and send it to hatton, he did so and got Ł108, next time i think he will listen.

Worst mistake youll make is going elsewhere mate, even local people wont offer as much as thats what i tried first and ended up making Ł180 more than the best price offered locally.

If you want the most money for your gold... then go to the London gold exchange and you'll get 2-3 times what the tv people are paying.

My mum did it!

Hatton garden is an area in london which is full of jewellers etc, best place for selling and buying, with regards to the website quoting you that amount, i bet you dont get that amount as thats what my mate did thinking he was getting a good price, they do it to actually get you to send ya stuff, no point asking advice if you end up just going with what you think lol. Unless you have somewhere on your doorstep then its the best place to send ya gold as nowhere like a small jewellers or pawnbrokers etc will be able to pay anywhere near what they actually pay. I tried.

They`re rip off merchants, how do you think they can make money by paying you that kinda money, if you think about it its obvious your about to be offered a shit amount and then youll have to go through the process of asking for your gold back, or youll take what they offer and secretly die from embarrassment lol.

The only other way of increasing the amount they give you is ringing them after and arguing your point that you know what its worth.

Good luck, youll need it.

Dave.

also worth noting that the only reason these types of businesses have sprung up the last 12mths or so , is due to the fact our idiot of a prime minister thought it would be clever to free up some funds for the uk .. by selling the uk gold reserves

hence the panic buying back now via these government backed schemes
like we ripyourgold.com etc etc !!!!

oh and also worth noting the market for buying gold will shortly come to an end ,its already on the decline now as we are well into saturation point !!

so in essence if you chopping it in do it sooner rather than later
