Why does it always come down to help much money? I have not got much money no, i chose cars over house over kids....now Porkie/Chip they got money and are sensible...i aint got anything to shout about except for the M5 and the AMG and even they arnt new...just old shitters tbh. I come here to ask people advice but people cant see past the cars THIS DOES NOT MEAN ONES RICH, STUPID MOST DEFINATELY as its me thats gonna end up a lonely fucker dying with nothing and noone around me...but fuck it live NOW for you do not know what tommorrow brings. Its funny how cars wind folk up...its like when i pull up to a petrol station in a ferrari/m5/amg etc in baggy trousers jewellery cap etc etc people just look evily at you...dress up smart and they look at you evily..you cant fooking win...but then you do get some genuine petrolheads who come over and talk cars which is well nice, but more evil eyes!

Im sure its a mixture of multiple reasons, as it is for anyone else who posts.

You for example, what was your reason for that post?

Are you worried the server can only handle important threads only, are you jealous of phil, are you bored of phil, are you frustrated you yourself can afford lots of nice cars?

Or a mix of some of the elements above, or something else?


More importantly though, who really cares, the thread is clearly titled and if such threads dont interest you from phil, surely you could just not open it, rather than open it and then bitch at it for existing?

If your into your bikes mate and have the cash available, then your really missing out if you dont try a modern sportsbike in my opinion. In comparison to a 916 any modern sportsbike will blow you away.

Regarding the car, i think your reasons for not wanting to use an M5 as an everyday car seem a bit strange if im being honest mate. Im sure the novelty will wear off a bit soon as with any new car so youll calm down once your used to it im sure. Then obviously your mpg will be better.

Its a perfect everyday car in my opinion, especially as you said your not 'that' bothered about mpg.

Mate had R1's R6's etc and not a patch on the character of a 916 and those looks....its certainly not about speed on bikes, this bike will never devalue only go up...i love it more than life itself...infact i want it buried with me...preferbly not in a ditch after an RTA

The M5 is very very special with the best engine avalible and will always be due to the V10 being axed...using everyday would at a guess cause me to get bored plus more things to go wrong on just mundane journeys i want it kept mint and low milege and use it on certain days like the amg

If its a 107 and its an auto, it may well be part of the toyota accelerator pedal recall (107 = C1 = Aygo, they are all just rebadged toyotas basically), so check that out with the dealer, otherwise you could be going down the road and find it insisting on using both its horsepower even though you dont want it too

Fantastic cars, one of the best designs of recent years when taken in the context of the design brief for a small car that fits 4 and is economical and still comfy to drive and manouvreable etc, but utterly nothing about them to interest anyone into performance

i totally agree with ya Ima Racing, i know alot of pals who ave the worst most run down houses or shitty flats going, but 3 miles away in a lock up have classic cars you would never of imagined them to have! i.e mk2 3.8 jags, lancia deltas, mk2 escorts and cossies! the end of the day everyone loves stereotyping people, and its just bollocks! there's like a unwritten rule! end of the day you spend ya brass on ya passion, regardless if its drugs, travelling, drink, cars, property, clothes whatever it is, if this thread was about someone spending 15k on track project, there would be no bad vibes at all! there rant over , and going back to the car front, you thought about a audi s6/s8??
