Default Removing a bmw badge

...just treated the M5 to some carbon badges for boot/bonnet/wheels and steering wheel. Can anyone advise before i attempt the fitting of these on Sunday how to take the old ones off?

Hot air is normally the best, luckily you're good at generating it!

Failing that use a hairdryer to warm the adhesive and carefully ease it off with a credit card or similar.

They're not glued on I don't think.

Two little plastic pips hold them in place.

Boot and bonnet come off with a thin screw driver but put cloth underneath to protect the paint. Steering wheel badge doesn't come off, you need to stick the badge over it.

same as above, but we use a small thin scrapper resting on a rubber squeegee as not to scratch the paint

and as mentioned aswell i would glue them on too, use 'sikaflex' it's a flexible adhesive used to glue spoilers and such like awesome stuff, sticks sh*t to a blanket

Phil, before taking your old ones off, make sure the ones you have are the same sizes, as there are billions of different sizes across the models

Fitted these to my E39 M-Sport. They look 100% better mate, especially as the car was black.

As said above, bonnet and boot just pull/ prise off.
Did you buy them from KudosBMW by any chance??
