Default saphire rear end ?

my shell doesnt have the 4 holes for the rear number plate surround it just has 2 holes were the number plate screws through and the surround is held on by them, its a bit wobly

i had to snap the 4 studs off my surround to get it to fit as my old shell had these 4 holes.

old shell was an E plate New one is an F

my mates shell is an E plate and the ghia i took my latest surround off was a K plate.

do the base model sierras not have these holes ? the reason i aks is ive noticed my boot was originally red and it has occured to me that if the car had a rear ender then the rear panel may not be a cossie one.

what u lot reckon ?

i have all the documentation for the car and if it was ever in a shunt it was not recorded and there were no receipts for it.

thats it.. i remember now. No need to ask him.

Right, about a month before he sold it, we were properly going some round an industrial estate, like you do lost it on a sharp bend and totally fooked the rear of the car up.. managed to get a few bits from the local scrappy as a bodge repair job.. were red, got them painted tho. alright, just to sell the car on. Thought it was a total loss.. as its twisted the shell.. look closer

naaa, just winding ya.. just sent him a text, so will let you know

Glad you asked this Craig, as my old 2wd had the four holes for the surround, but my rally shell doesn't.
