Google streetview - almost everywhere in high res
Go and check out your house on google streetview now.
almost every road in the entire country is covered now, even remote farms and stuff.
Truely EPIC task that must have been.
They visited my house last thursday afternoon, I can tell as the car that isnt on the driveway ive only driven once since xmas, lol

I'm going to have a look in a bit, seen the google car around lately, 1st time I saw it last March was a french registered Corsa, saw it couple times this week, now uk registered.

More interesting than that IMO was the guy who wanted to promote his music, so followed a Google Streetcar, until he figured its route out, then went ahead before jumping out of his car and playing guitar on the pavement with a sign next to him.

Holy shit.
I live outside Glasgow, about 20miles or so, Glasgow and surrounding has had it for ages but never been down at mine yet.
Now i can see in my front window. Never thought much about it before but now my house is on it i find it a wee bit intrusive... even though the pic is 4/5months old at a guess.

Cant believe theyve got my town on there its properly in the sticks, must be some time ago though as my vans outside my old house I moved from last year.

I've just had a look, and they've got me on the pic, standing on the doorstep of our old house, with my dog. They've blurred out my face, and the car registration.

I think its a very good tool, but it has a picture of my house with the garage open, so all can see in 
Not too impressed with that, but doubt there is much I can do

Wow, that's awesome! Thought it'd be YEARS before they ever did my little street.
Obviously taken mid day during the week as I'm in the corner of the cul-de-sac which is rammed full of cars of an evening. Next doors 2 cars and van are missing, next-door-but one's two cars are both missing, next door and next door but one the other side's car are missing. The only car there is my BMW which barely ever turns a wheel, so I was obviously at work.
Can't be that recent though 'cos my garage door hasn't been painted and there's no Puma on the drive either! I would guess it's about 8 months ago.
