I'm guessing the gumtree ad is a scam or something?

The gumtree ad was posted today, and the one posted on turbo sport was posted a month ago (04-02-2010), and he said he received the deposit for the car yesterday (on turbo sport).

 

gumtree is full of scams!! prob another one here. i guess its not a crime unless your behind the wheel???

Thats not the correct car. I know as I just bought a car from the guy who's selling it. He had and A cossied Anglia,MK1 Estate,MK1 Golf and an Anglia 300ZX for sale.

Everyone feel free to hassle the seller as much as possible on the number in the advert. I have emailed them and also rang myself. I still cant work out how someone is selling my own car though??

This is someone obviously stitching up a mate. When the number was called the person that answered said it was SOLD so how is it a scam? They didn't ask for money to be transferred did they?

Its just one of those things, what can you do? I very much doubt the guys number thats been used posted the ad because of the reasons I've said above. By calling it you're just doing exactly what the ad poster wants.

 

Cant belive people think this a genuine ad, that gumtree is just full of fake ads and scammers.

 

The gumtree add says its done 17k, where as TS says and shows 50k!! Still, could have been a bargain lol
