If the DVLA took cash off you to put the plate on, they'll gladly take cash off you to put it back on retention

been told it might need an inspetion and just checked the dvla web site and it says there they might wanna inspect the car which il have no way of getting it down there anyway

They can ask to inspect any car.........regardless of if its cat d or otherwise. My mate had to take his concours car to them on a trailer........30seconds and they were done!

i also had to get an inspection to transfer the plate off my old car managed to get a home visit but they said that they dont usually do them
