where postage is posted in the ad, then why is it a scam?? Perfectly visible and clear! Yes it may well be outrageous, unreasonable, extortionate, but that's a choice you have to take into account when/if bidding surely???

When the item turns up with potage marked at £6.00 on it then it is a fucking scam

Why is it?

You see the postage before you bid, and as it has been discussed before, the postage is a bit more that just the stamps, there is the travelling the parcelling.

Why is he wrong is he puts £100 postage on?

Just dont bid on it??

Simple.

If he had delivered it next day on a courier then that would have been fine but it took something like 4 days Sorry but I think it is wrong and doesnt cost £12 for a used cardboard box and some newspaper.

Not on here to argue though

I understand the +P+P (postage and Packaging)But some ppl just dont look at the postage charges until they won the item then get stung.I think a few have cottoned onto this and are inflating the charges and selling the goods cheaper. But then if the goods sell for good money as well there making a killing.Just goes to prove you got to have your wits about you WOTever and WHERE ever you buying it from.

postage is the 2nd thing i look at before the feedback, and if u dont check it and you win, then thats what ebay is all about

Quite..
if the p+p is quoted, you know up front exactly what it'll cost, if you don't think it's reasonable, then move on
Anyone who bids and wins without confirming shipping charges beforehand is asking for problems,, seems pretty simple to me

Its coming from America, its clearly advertised, by the time its packaged (so the UT models box doesnt get crushed, as the collectors are sad cunts who would only moan if the box was squashed.....so by the time its packaged, and sent from america, I dont think £17 is too bad at all really....tight gits

Indeed, if you don't want to pay for it, then don't bid. After all, the balls in the bidders court

this means the SELLER is in Hinckley, not necessarily the item

Ebays bad wording

EVERY WORD of an auction needs to be read, and I make sure I do just that.

Doesnt matter if its coming from abroad does it? You agreed the postage whether its coming from next door or Mars?

Has anyone recently sent anything from America?

I have, a 22lb parcel cost me $56 and will take 6 to 8 weeks.!

I don't think the cost is out of order, I'd charge £10 to courier the same item inside the uk.
