Christian, thanks!

While i have your attention actually, could I ask a question? I just bought a non ABS mk4 brake fluid resevoir, it doesnt fit the seals on the master cylinder though Do the non ABS resevoirs need different seals? Or have ford sold me the wrong part?

Cheers mate

Is it the Reservoir that looks the same as the standard S2 one? If so, it does fit, but if you are using new seals they are as tight as a very tight thing.

It looks the same, but slightly wider.

The seals are the old ones (not perished), but the atcual fittings on the bottom of the resevoir are 1-2mm wider diameter than the original one.....I think Ford sold me the wrong part

So do I.

The correct one looks identical to the old one, just without the 2 extra ports.

Usual Ford cock-ups!!
