Ive a picture on my phone of my escort cosworth glowing bright red, the turbo and manifold, jus make sure u dont switch the engine off when its like this
Once read on an American Audi Forum about a guy who took his Audi in for service and they have him an A3 1.8 Turbo. He had photo's on there of the Exhaust glowing red halfway down the car. I wish I still had them.
oh no i dont turn the car off 4 about 5 mins when ive been
giving it sum stick cause the turbo ive got on it is off a saab
and hasnt got a water feed on it so i always let it cool down
Im sure you know, Stainless Manifolds are prone to cracking. I would put small strengthening plates on any areas that might be stressed. Such as between the Flange and the pipes

It really does look impressive though.
thanks m8 yes i know that Stainless Manifolds are prone to cracking and this is a prototype and i know i have to strength with small plates on the areas where it might be stressed
You really need to use inconel to stop the cracking, the main problem is due to the differing thicknesses of the system and the different expansion rates.

sorry forgive me if im stupid but what amd i ment to be looking at
When i had my grale a few of the lads did lots of research into materials for manifolds and the only one suitable for the temp ranges was stupidly expensive and very hard to work (inconel).
