i built the workdsbk.tv site a few years back then they went bust and the tv company had to buy the rights for the sport - same shit happended to WRC and I built their site - anyone see a pattern happening here
I did actually have a full years VIP ticket for the World SBK for 2008/09 and only managed to goto one race in Assen in Holland couldnt make any of the others

Cannot agree, youve got 4 riders currently who will win a MotoGP race, and apart from 2 or 3 rounds the racing wont be close.
WSB, this year alone there is a potential 10 race winners on the grid, and a hell of alot more close racing involved.

Kwaks are still a second off the pace, shame because Birdy is putting alot into those bikes.
Haslam's on an Alstare Suzuki alongside Guintoli.

WSB will piss all over Moto Gp this year. Moto GP is too predictable with the same riders at the front in each race and I aint paying Ł50 to watch a race with 17 riders!
yea same here. been a fan of his since I saw him powerslide the whole start/finish at Thruxton a couple years back with a huge cloud of smoke off of the back tyre
Haslam has a decent chance too if they can get the rocket ship Suzuki to handle.

I love WSB, not been following it much over the last couple of years. Now have proper Sky so will be watching as much as I can.
My favourite year was 2002, went along to Silverstone round as guests of Honda, and met Colin Edwards. Later that year went on to be World Champion in one of the greatest final races I've ever seen up against Troy Bayliss.
Some piccies:
Me on the RCV211 (think that was it's code - the bike Rossi used the following year in MotoGP)
Me, my ex and Colin Edwards, 2002 WSB Champion
Myself on Colin's bike, which he fell off in the warm up lap Not my fault honest.
