Ah, I see... I know exactly what you mean then. At first when I read forums I thought I was seriously weak, as guys smaller than me were lifting twice my weight, then I realised it wasn't all true.

I know the feeling.
I've also discovered that a lot of people who are lifting bigger weights aren't necessarily using the proper form. (if that's the right word - what i'm getting at is that they dont' do it properly and are effectively cheating so that they can say they lift bigger weights. e.g. using your shoulders/back to help when doing bicep curls.)

very true it more about the technike than the weight. as when people go to heavy other muscle groups compensate.

Do you guys use steriods/vitamins to get big. Or is it purely exercise and good food.

i did to get where i wanted.. and most of the big lads have but IMO they only play a small part. the most important stuff is diet.

Im 20 stone and ive never touched the stuff but i eat like a horse (shire) so diet plays a big
part . but imo steroids can play a massive part in size and strength just look at the top body builders/strongmen they all use steroids. but be warned they can cause big health problems. but i guess its your choice

Some people are naturally big or naturally strong so have an unfair advantage. Really, who gives a fuck about the size of your arms? Look at those female bingo wings posted earlier, 22" maybe??? but look like shit, all fat with not muscle at all!! Prime example, Bigern. Not taking anything away from you chap but your a natural oaf. Stereotypical meathead. If you never set foot in a gym you would still have bigger arms than most on this thread.
