Default removing snapped wheel bolts , suggestions , easy out ???

went to change the wheel on the mrs's shitron the other day and 2 wheel bolts snapped in the hub whilst undoing them !

there is no part of the bolts protruding from the hub so cant get anything on them

any suggestions ? drill and easyout maybe but bear in mind they wouldn't budge with a breaker bar before they snapped !

long shot but u could try using a fine chizel to cut a cross in the stud and use a screwdriver that digs in and turn when you hit them with a hammer, i cant remember what they are called as i rarely use them but im sure u know what i mean.... hopefully.

put leoads of heat on it if you can get it nearly red hot then start to drill it the heat should loosen the rust off then the drilling should pull it out, i tend not to use the easy out's cos if they snap then your really knackered .

or a new hub if can get one cheap enough.

then put copper slip on the bolts so you don't have to go through this again do the other wheels aswel whilst you at it.

they were stupidly tight then snapped leaving 2/3 still in there

i would just replace the hub but finding one in a scrappy round here is a nightmare

Wouldnt of thought that tbh. If you couldnt get off with a breaker bar. Impact guns arnt really that strong.

the stuck part hasnt moved at all as the rust on the back of the hub where a bit if the bolt is poking through is all intact and still solid
