Default insurance /alarm/imob certificates

hi just wondering looking at a car that might be buying sat if its still available then just a quick question it has alarm/imobilliser but the bloke has lost the certificates will insurance still insure me without the proof? anyhelp welcomed cheers

my insurance did without proof i do have the certs but probably better to ask the insurance people. you might have to get someone to check it out and do you a new ticket

If it's a declared condition of the policy then insurer will want to see them, originals that is most won't accept photocopies, they will also copy them before sending back to you.
