Default Anyone Good With Maths? Basic Skills Will Do...

I am really bad with maths, and I wish to know what I am saving here in pounds. £27.99 for 2.5kg or £47.99 for 5kg. Am I saving £7.99 or £10.00? And how did you work it out, so I know!

Thank's!

(27.99*2)-47.99 = 7.99

£7.99. Double the 2.5 price then take away the price of the 5kg.

Your saving £7.99 if you buy 5kg at once rather than two lots of 2.5kg

I'm not sure how you worked it out from the above, but thank's for the answer.

27.99 / 2.5 = 11.20 per kg
47.99 / 5 = 9.60 per kg

So the other way to look at it is you are saving 1.60 per kg, or 4 quid off each 2.5 kg you buy. (14%)
