Default Best place to put savings?

Ok, so its not alot, but anything is better than nothing? I have £1k and not sure where to put for best return, high interest savings accounts aren't exactly returning much (especially on such a small amount)

Never had an ISA, I take it one of these would be a better place (as tax free) I don't intend to take the cash out (is a cash ISA better than shares?)

Zo, if you don't plan to touch the money, take out a long term ISA which pays better interest that a cash one ( which I have ) that way they know you're not going to be raiding the fund on a regular basis.

Thats where i have been told to put some money here's the link http://www.nsandi.com/products/pb

My brother in law has won a fair bit on them but on the other hand my dads mate put the maximum £30,000 and didnt make that much

But the good thing is you dont loose your money and as the intrest rate is shit its worth a go

Know a geezer who had a fair bit of money in shoe boxes under his bed....didn't trust banks??

Anyway, when the new £20 notes started to filter through, he was in a panic. Constantly on my case to swap notes with him so he could re-save them.

Never understood why you'd do that.

Nah, similar shocking hair though.

Luke wouldn't be swapping porn mags with me anyway...his "taste" is different to mine. I'm alllllll about the minge. He likes dockers, builders, poilcemen and people in Red Indian outfits
