Was thinking today, (really hurt myself) at what point would you say THAT'S FAST ENOUGH!!!
I've seen just over 160mph in my saph (wonder what that really is) and 185mph on my GIXXER in 5 gear (1 moor to go) thinking about having it de-restricted but where do you stop?

so how far have you pushed your motors and at what point would/have you eased off???

In my rst i have been off the clock, 5th gear til the limiter kicked in. not sure how fast it was, it didn't have timing gear i was just messing round on abingdon airfield (which isn't very long lol)

i was a passenger at 150mph indicated in a T5 estate once on a french morotway. we were driving hard for a good 14 hours and got bored at night time 100mph in the rst is way scarier that any speed in a volvo i can say that

went 176 ( the digi gauge said ) on a nicked gixxer thou , it started raining and the fuel gauge lit up so i backed it off

passenger id say around the 160 mark

sometimes you forget quick cars youve been in ,

hoping the mk 3 will see 170 + though when its built , if i can get my balls up lol

My mate got done for 99mph on the ring road they didnt get his true speed as they went for the duke he was racing he was quite lucky as the bloke on the duke got done for 140odd mph

On my TL1000R did about 165mph blade i got to 170ish and the RSVR 142mph so far

in the cossy have only got to 140 just didnt feel right

ha ha cool i could do 155 from the carters rounderbout to the safeways one on my r1 and can get about 150 in my saff lol but i dont trust the brakes on the saff as much as i did on my bike!

Seen 193mph on the speedo on an unrestricted autobahn on the way to the ring. Things don't half happen quick at that speed, scary

Was the 180 the day we done Kieths R1 (5 UP) that was a classic race.

201.3mph in a car
45 ish mph on a BSA Bantam in about 1960 it felt far too fast & I never rode another bike.

Did an indicated 160mph in my old Pulsar, felt plenty fast enough for me, if something goes wrong at that speed it's game over.

It's weird as the faster you go, the sensation is almost exponential when you get over 100mph, ie 130mph feels twice as fast as 100mph

and had indicated 180 out of my rx7
got the p100 to do 150mph... and i think that was the most scary lol.
back in the late 70s i did a 105mph lap of the isle of man on an old (at the time new) ducati 900ss. that sounds slow now but fuck me it wasnt.
