Renewal time again, and Admiral give me a lame £20-30 off of last years. o on to confused and go through all the crap to get a lovely quote from 'Done Deal':

i got the lowest price i could find for 450 fully comp on my run about from them, then whent on to prices like 3k, 3k thats a 17year olds insurance quote ffs

Confused.com is shit, if you have any modifications at all you might as well not bother even trying to get a quote via them.

Greenlight have provided me the best quote for my RS so far although I'm waiting for Flux to get back to me.

gutted mate i only pay £560 for to cars 1 focus rs mk2 and a mondeo tdci 130 6speed. all i can say is shop around or give chris a ring at A plan.

I always seem to get a good deal with Direct Line, happy with what I pay, and have stuck with them for a good few years now.

MoneySupermarket gives the best results IMO.

It told me to go with Swiftcover for 320 quid. Thought -'feck this'. Went to swiftcover directly and granted, it was 320 quid.

Got told to use a 'cashback' site (best one being TopCashBack)
Signed up. Cleared my cookies and clicked on swiftcover via TopCashBack's link.
Got 45 quid cashback for taking out the insurance at 320.

They paid me the 45 quid after a month or two.... well worth doing IMO.
Try it. Deffo will be doing it at renewal time, too.

How do you find out the risk category for your area ? Is it as simple as part of the postcode,if so how do you compare it with others,thanks.

£312 fully comp from confused .com done deal are at the bottom of every quote and everytime they are £9000+ me girlfriend is insured with done deal on her tdi golf £275 fully comp so imo they are not too bad seems i am the only one how got a good deal
