Still looking into cars for next year when I get my license in the spring, and seeing as so many people around 20 seem to have cars like the RS2k and RS turbos, I figured there's gonna have to be at least one insurer who will do me a reasonable quote at 23.

Any ideas? I tried Confused.com but got nothing too brilliant back.

start with tescos or churchill - normally a good estimate of how much you will pay!

try tescos's or adrian flux, and make sure you do a pass plus, it knocks loads off your 1st two years insurance but to be honest, unless you wanna be paying probably Ł1500+ third party, you wont get insured on anything like an RS or gti etc for the first year

I don't mind around Ł1500 for TPFT, that I can handle. Last time I tried Tescos online or Churchill they wouldn't quote,a nd I hate ringing up!

internet quote is one thing - but when you ring up be prepared for them to give you the real quote!

Mofos! lol I did a FLux one online so will wait for them to get back and see what they say. I can get quotes for a newer 1.8Si around Ł1200 so don't see why the same insurer's don't quote for the RS2K. Ludicrous.

I think you'll be hard pushed to get a decent decent quote. Insurance drops a fair wedge after your first year of driving (and hopefully 1yr ncb)
