have a 2l zetec sat at home and was wondering the cheapest way to build a zetec turbo, just for abit of a mess about,i was thinking de comp plate rather than pistons and just run low boost and a rst inlet but what about exhaust manifold.couls i modifie a rst one or? and wat els would i need?

 

depends on what car its going in but you'll be needing management, injectors

 

if you wanna go cheap cheap just drill and tap the head and use an erst exaust

 

two words i have learnt do not mix ,

turboed engine - cheap


if you just want a budget turbo , bolt up an efi inlet , rst exhaust , decomp , run it till it pops,




personally , nothing is ever a bugdet , espically if you want a relaible motor


this is a man who blew 9 engines in a year trying the cheap method ,

you need fiesta turbo management OFAB or OFAC, im running OFAB but for cheapness u will prob get OFAC
