Can't fail a car without front wipers either, if it has no screen, or a car without lights, it just gets a daylight mot!!

so...if a car has a big 70mm crack right down the middle of the screen, but someone has removed the std wipers and fitted headlight size blades so the crack isnt in the swept

My car doesn't have a screen, wipers, washers or a heater and that goes through the MOT every time - and that's on a normal MOT - not a so called daytime one.

can now also fail vehicles for having an exhaust which emits sound louder than that of a vehicle of same type fitted with a standard silencer in other words no big bore exhausts!
