Job application help.
Got a few forms to fill out, but the stickler question for me is
"Please summarise breifly why would you like to become part of our company"
I cant exactly put "Because it will pay me to live a lifestyle" which is the main reason why I go to work,
Heeeeeeeelllllllllllllllllllllllllllp as to what crap they want to hear

you need to learn to waffle shit about how exciting developments in that company blah blah blah and your unique skill set and your aspirations mean you are well matched to help the company drive these developments forward while at the same time driving you forward as you learn new skills and bring new ideas to the team. Some bollocks like that.
If its heavily customer service based then play on the companys core values and customer ethos and how you already hold those values etc
its all shit really but they need something to differentiate between someone whos just filled in yet another random form yet has the skills and someone whos taken a keen and enthusiastic interest.
Or you could just put " the directors 17 year old daughter is fit as fuck and with her posh voice shes bound to be a dirty bitch in bed, plus the bragging rights of fucking the boss' daughter hard up the arse is ace! "

Yeah, you should prove to them that you know what they do, what the job entails and what the challenges are for the company and the role. I like a challenge - tell me the role and give me the website of the company and I reckon I can write something appropriate!

seriously now i would say in your own words for example that you feel you have benifits to offer and are always willing to learn new stuff etc etc and also like a challange as its better to work with something with a challenge

this bullshit stuff is going to get worse not better.
Remmeber theres thousands if not hundreds of thousands out of work with the same quals as you so employers have got to do something to work out whos best. Some things in group interviews and forms etc are totally irrelevant to the job but they do it to see if you can be bothered to jump through those hoops. Things are that bad now. unless youve got skill set thats in demand then the reality is theres plenty of people just as experienced and qualified as you so youve got to stand out!
Give it 20 years and youll need a degree to be a supervisor in tesco's
