ok guys i got a ivor searle cylinder i've narroe it down to the following

86sm9060 head leanburn post 86 carb head (from puma racing website)

it has kidney shaped combustion chambers

suare ish exhaust ports
round ish inlet ports

its a new head not been anywhere not even outta the box apart from me to check numbers etc

girl i bought it from said she its either a mfi or efi head but she can't remember lol


so just wondering if there is a uick way of telling thanx alain

efi has the extra cut out at the top of the inlet port for the injectors. hope this helps.

so efi inlet ports look more of an L shape then ??

cool this means its a mfi head then cheers mate

as mine don't look like that they just round lol

but iirc the mfi head can be used on a carb aswell lol just not efi thanx again alain
