Default fuel line help

hi guys

needing your help

im going to start to order and run my fuel lines in my cosworth mk2

i have ordered 12meters of AN-6 ptfe teflon braided hose as im running in inside the car

but here where i need help

i have been told i need to run AN-8 from tank to pumps and filter and swirl pot and then AN-6 to the engine

but the 4x4 fuel rail i have is push fit and look like 4mm but an-6 is 8mm

should i change it as it go's though the bulkhead so its an-6 inside the car and as it go's though into the engine bay it go's down to an-3 / an-4?

what have you cosworth guys done?
