right ill give as much info as possible but im clueless so please bear with me...

Formatted a Dell latitude c600 laptop. Installed a windows 2000 upgrade cd.....

I now have a display only half the size of the screen itself,colours are to cock etc. Ive been told i need drivers, but what drivers??? ive tried downloading driver programs but non with install without errors during....


Please please someone help me out

 

Win update usally solvs it! But go to dell.com, support, driver download or something, search on the laptop model, graphics drivers download

Go down to the bottom and click on Video.

 

ive already done that but it errors on install saying "try to install standard vga first" ????????

Device driver shows pci simple communications controller has no driver also, ?? any link?
