Default 1.4 tdci fiesta 2004. Bleeding fuel system.

I have just replaced the injector seals/washers and put the car back together minus the air filter and surround. I have hand pumped the fuel (fuel bulb on fuel line)and the car (1.4 tdci Van) will not start. I cracked the fuel input to the injectors one by one and still nothing (fuel came out when engine turned over).
I am now at my wits end, am not sure what todo next? Does anyone have any ideas?
Happy New Year to all.

Just tried towing it in 2nd gear but to no avail. It has the rubber ball and i have squeezed the hell out of it!!
Whilst towing there was no indication at all that it was about to work, not firing at all. I am not keen on getting the wife to tow me again, or do you think i should. How much of a tow etc.. does it normally take?
Again at my wits end, will try anything now. 1.4 fiesta tdci 2004 van variant.
Kind regards

You need to bleed it using the rubber ball - running the pump dry will absolutly screw it - which might of already happened if your very unlucky.

The pumps use the fuel as internal lubrication.

Another possible way to bleed them is to use a vac pump on the injector leak offs...

Many thanks for the help so far. The wife has just towed me round the block and absolutely nothing! The battery is now on charge for a while whilst i warm up. How do i bleed the system with the rubber ball? do i need to take off any fuel pipes etc.... I must be doing something wrong?
Kind regards
