hmm dint think of that!
is there anyway of working it out or is it just give it a go and see???
Dont think they would be to hard to remove if it did, or possably up the oil pressure slightly? Buy using a different pump or modding the standard pump? (i now most work on a spring dont they?)
What sort of problems can you get from to high oil pressure?
Mine will have a lot larger oil sump and hopfully some sort of gated plate so the oil in the sump and the pickup not being able to draw any oil wont be a problem?

They have a spring loaded ball in them that shuts them off if oil pressure drops, so no worries there.
They are from an isuzu 1.7 TD engine, if you call autovaux and tell them you want some like in the Total Vauxhall article, they will know what one you mean, about 30 quid a set.

Your drift them in, you need to be careful not to damage them, its important to drill or ream the whole to the correct size.
We found they worked best at 5.85mm IIRC

I dont know the part number off hand but im sure I can find it out for you.
I used them because they are tried and tested and readily available, and when I ran the idea past Stu @ MSD years ago when I first did it in about 2005 or so, he said that he also had used them with good success on things like RS turbos, so that seemed like a good endoresement.
We use them in quite a few engines in the vauxhall world now, Rob's astra also has them for example and thats certainly taking a massive beating for a home made effort!
