Default Odd DIY/Refurb Question

Right.

Been looking for ages, but someone on here might know what these are called or if there even available still in this style of a new style.

basically there on a few cupboards around the house, and i would like to replace them with something similar in function but possibly a newer design, or replace them for new if requires.

they are a twisted sprung mechanism, which has bayonet/zues type fasterner.

any ideas?

as said i've search the internet for ages but to no avail.

other option is to redo arcatrave and fit a traditional lock or roller type latch, but would prefer these is possilbe.

here is the item in question.

excuse the shite iphone photos

Lol since when was this passioncupboarddoorlocks.com

I would try perhaps a furniture restorers? You could even have a wander round b&q, they do quite a few quirky things like this!

b&q/wickes/homebase etc etc have nothing like it.

there are no reclamation yards local, but didnt think of them to be honest, might be worth looking on the net

They look like they belong in a Caravan. Pseudo Art Deco.
