Default how do i assign a new controller to the ps3?

because i can't find anything to help me out so far ont eh system, and i've been fucking about for an hour

When mates come over with theres I just plug the recharger cable into it

Turn the controller on, lights will flash, then plug the charge cable into it and after a couple of seconds light should go solid.

Make sure it's charged then just press the PS button on the controller and it should do it automatically.

You need to connect the USB lead the first time you sync it with a PS3

thanks peeps

been too preoccupied letting junior play gt5, would have been playing grid but it's single player only, and whats the point in playing a car game when you can't crash your cars into eachother and smash them to fuck

Ah right yeah you're right sorry, thought you meant you wanted to play against other people online.

They've kinda done away with 2 player games like we used to get back in the day and focused more on the online side of things, shame really, seems kids would rather play against complete strangers on the other side of the world than in the same room with their mates.

he only wants to be the orange focus asbo and do doughnuts on teh grass so no harm in having fun eh

all i need to do then is get up to ramming speed in the gt40 and see which one flies the furthest
