Where to get my car Corner weighted & setup?
Looked in Performance Ford and there aren't that many places in the traders bit to get my car corner weighted and setup.
Got full coilovers all round , adjustable tca's too. Car is well out of balance and a cage is going in within the next 2 weeks.
Got the Beds track day to do in Feb and it all needs setting up.
Bearing in mind I live in Hertfordshire where would be a good and not too far place to go and what sort of price would I be looking at?
Many thanks in advance

Fit the cage and all the other mods first BEFORE considering any of this Dave.
Corner weighting dosn't actually shift any weight around the car but balances out the transfer of forces applied. Corner weighting the car wont actually make you any quicker but a good aligned set up will. Every change somewhere is relative to something else, if you adjust the height, this will adjust the track (front and rear), if you adjust the track this will affect the corner weights. It can be a long process trying to find the correct balance of car drivability in a straight line and also for round corners.
As for differences, on a road car with rubber bushes everywhere its semi pointless its more suited to modified cars which have had adjustment designed components fitted. Then its a godsend. To get your car to push round corners whilst others are backing off is worth seconds per lap
Go visit Brom Dave if there's nowhere more local when all the mods are done.

I am just after a basic setup from someone at the moment as when the rear coilovers and adjustable track control arms were fitted they were measured up to the previous knackerred ones.
Obviously this is not an accurate way to set it up. The place that fitted them doesn't do tracking and relies on a garage next door to do the tracking. They refused to do it as they said the car was too low.
The car pulls all over the place at them moment and I really don't like driving it as it just doesn't feel right to drive even at low speeds let alone taking it round a track.
I am going to get the cage fitted and then when I am home in a couple of weeks time get the suspension setup. The car looks like a dragster as the back end sits way up in the air and the front is dropped quite low.
It's not much for a basic setup and I feel that it would make a good improvement for the track day in Feb.
