No, it doesnt and according to the local lad who posted the footage where I saw it the police are considering doing the driver for dangerous driving for just bailing out and letting his car smash into things.
All he needed to do at that speed was take his foot off the brake and he would have had *some* control of it, enough to slowly plough into a hedge or whatever, not abandon it and leave it going down the hill to possibly kill someone.
At the point they first opened the door the car was barely moving and could easily have been steered into the space to their right at very low speed and worse link likely to happen is hit the cougar it with no real harm done, just a tiny bit of damage to the bumper etc.
So personally I think the comments are justified.

the guy got a broken arm and ribs from that... its outside my sisters house just round the corner from me... the hills not really that steep where it happened lucky they never made it up the hill as the one at the other side goes out onto a main road and that was icey...

What I find most concerning were the folks making the video. They seemed to know about the conditions, but appeared to be more interested in catching a car skidding than warning road users, doing something about the road surface.
