What I find most concerning were the folks making the video. They seemed to know about the conditions, but appeared to be more interested in catching a car skidding than warning road users, doing something about the road surface.

Must have felt pretty out of control as the car just slid down the road. Buckling in and enjoying the ride/crash would have been much more sensible but far less 'Indiana Jones' than those two went for. Maybe they thought it was gonna blow up?

As you said, you would have stayed in the car and tried to hit a kerb or something, or if going into a main road then to hit another "obstacle" car, post, whatever, but to just leave it is quite a bit dumb really...
