Pistonheads Porsche section is ok , but if you want more info on tuning get onto www.6speedonline.com its an american based site where they treat Porsches like we do cosworths 'a good place to start from'.

I think there are a few british companies that will fit the 996 turbo engine into boxters, this would probably be your cheapest and most reliable method. Will give you a 3.6 ,420 bhp ,dry sumped engine and thats before you start tuning

I'm thinking that the 3.2 in there is enough for now but looking to turbo or supercharge it and then uprate the air flow and suspension.

Only looking for around 340hp

I would think a supercharger kit from the states would be your best bet, dont think there are many turbo kits available as Porsche already made a turbo.

As said pistonheads is a cood start.

Though BHP per £ is not going to be good. Have you thought of selling and buying one thats already done, or even moving to the boxters bigger brothers.
