Was just up at my mates work after I got a text off him around an hour ago asking if i knew anyone needing spares off a crashed 4x4....
Anyway, turns out he had a "moment" that ended up with the car going arse first into a trailor. Went up and had a look at his car and it's defo a write off.
Took some pics but can't post them up till i get home as i can't access photobucket at work (unless someone wants to host them for me and post the links)
Gutted for him as it had the makings of a nice car and he wasn't afraid to use it on the track or road and had just got it running really nice.
Anyone else had a mishap???

Aye i guess not, but it does have it's fair share of fun moments. I used mine in the snow for about the first 3-4 winters, it was brilliant fun when the roads were quiet, ABS didn't work either so it was really dodgy. Would never dream of it now tho, apart from the white one maybe.

Nah very much doubt that it's worth repairing, it COULD be fixed at great expense, but it need all of what's been said above.

hmmm perfect base for a focus cossie 4x4 ....defo a winter project then. go buy a focus ,get it done and sell all the bits thats left cossie bonnet,front bumper,doors,focus 2 litre engine ,gearbox and suspension.prob not much dearer than repairing it.

Oh nasty, think ive seen it about.
Roads up here are bad, but i think most of the ditch finders have nobody to blame but them selfs.
I was just sat behind a white octavia, slight right hander,slames the brakes on, full lock, and now he's 30 - 40 ft into a ditch.
