if its a combi boiler mate it wont light if the pressure is below 0.7 bar
ya need to recharge it and go from there, to see why its lost pressure, if its just a heating boiler it could just want a new thermocouple, ya can buy a universle 1 from b&q there easy enough to fit and well worth a try

holla back at me if ya struggling bud

Firstly, do you have any other gas appliances?- do they work ok?

Regardless of the pilot light, does the boiler make all the right noises that it normally would do?

what combi is it?

maybe theres an overheat reset you need to press, unfamiliar with that boiler but sounds old and will likely have 1.look around the underside for a red button.

Yeh mate if there was no pressure in it, Think your boiler may have a resetable overheat,Have a look in the instructions on the boiler it may point you to it, then reset it and try to light your pilot

Thermocouple sounds like it has gone........

This is the device that holds the gas valve open when it has been heated long enough. If it is knackered then it wont hold the gas valve open ending up with no gas going to the boiler....

If it is that it is an easy fix....looking about £70 if you call someone out.
