And if I'm honest the most trouble I've had from people trying to race me is bloosy Fiesta ST150 owners! They seem to be the worst round here.

The BEST car I had for getting races was a 205 1.9 Gti, because it's a middle-of-the-road performer, many people know their car is in the same league and will give you a go.

In the Cossie, very few people want races, nobody wants a race they know they will lose. Plus I drive the Cossie like a granny, carefully steering around potholes and taking speeds bumps in 1st because I can't afford to fix it if it breaks

i used to have loads in my stripped cosworth celica on 18's purely because the local boy racers knew what it was and wanted to see it go knowing full well their saxos etc would get beat.
id have plenty in my cosworth bmw as well and not just the racers in evos and scoobys, old men in their flash bmw's and mercs wouldnt like to see 18 year bmw estates right up their arses then overtaking.
i also raced an amg merc 500 knowing i would get beat. i just wanted to see how mine compared. it left me for dead as if i was standing still.
