Default 2nd hand bluefin's - how much they worth ?

can anyone give me an idea on how much a 2nd hand bluefin would fetch for a ST170

Nothing as you cant reuse them UNLESS the original owner sends it back to Superchips and pays to get it recalabrated.........which i think was about £10 cheaper than buying one brand new.....

its about the same to get them reprogrammed as it is new!

As above, I looked into it as someone I know was selling one. If the original owner sends it back with proof of purchase and proof that they still own the car then it would cost somewhere around £150-200 to reset it. And seeing as the going rate for a second hand locked bluefin is about £150, it doesn't work out any cheaper!

i was always under the impression it would work on any st170 (or whatever it was originally for)

is that the case then ?

No mate, once it it used by the original buyer, it is locked to THAT car and can only be used on it....

why buy remapping equipment for your own car
