Default Tool parked across drive

Hi guys, got a bit of a problem, some tool has parked across my girlfriends drive on her street and i can't get out! Car has parking permit on for the area so knocked on a few doors but no luck.
Anyone know of a site i can use to look up the registered address of the vehicle?

Cheers

give the car a good shake and get the alarm going, owner will soon come out.

If they don't smash the window and let the handbrake off and role it out of the way.

When he comes knocking just say 'loads of car crime down here mate, must have been the local chavs.

no need, phone police and say vehicle is causing an obstruction, you need to get car out, car should be issued with a FPT code L42 unnecessary obstruction and owner should be contacted by police to come and remove the car or the car will be towed.

Haha, i had thought of that but it's a shitbox of a saxo so no alarm.
My other idea was to jack it up and push it round into the road and squeeze out.

Just called the cops, so we will see! Cheers nugnah

yes it is a 'last resort' approach, but tbh, what if there was an emergency you need to get to?

I hate inconsiderate people.

My mate accidently did it, and came out the next morning to a rather angry man lol!! my mate said he was really sorry, had got back late and didn't notice the drive, but the bloke was ranting on and on.

My mate then noticed the guys little lad all excited in the window and figured the guy was acting up for the show, so my mate simply said, I have said sorrry, there is nothing else I can do unless you would like to go toe to toe over it?

Bloke scurried back off into his house. Worst bit was a few weeks later someone torched his motor, bet he thought it was my mate lol!!

Bang on!!!!

My house is opposite a busy shop and had exactly the same problem, depending on the amount of work the police have on, they should sort it.

A lot of the people who use the shop on our estate, dont park over the drive now, but it did take me 13 years of me giving them abuse to stop it.

I had one guy once park on my front lawn and on the path (half and half) that tit got a wake up call the next morning when he finaly come back for his car, i greeted him with a nice smile and a welcoming heart, did i fuck!

we wrote to the council and they said that they would send out a letter to "register" the driveway and dropped kerb so that if anyone parked across it they would come out and ticket/move/tow the obstruction away

apparently you have to do this now as the only other way the police will do it is if they are parked on the pavement

well, that's what it's like in this neck of the woods

Get 2 of your mates round in their cars and park one at each end right up to the bumper,so when owner wants to go they can't.

Police don't give a shit. I've had similair and all they asked was 'Do you really need to go out tonight?' 'Can you get a taxi'? And then drove off. Only popped his head out of the car, never even got out. Absolute joke.

ok, for us , if a car is blocking another car on a drive and they need to get out, we attend and give it a FPT (parking ticket) £30 , we contact control and ask for the registered owner to be contacted, only takes a few mins, if no joy we ask for the vehicle to be towed away £180 on top of £30.

if it's only a saxo, get some mates around to simply bump it out into the middle of teh street somewhere
you get out, leave it there, someone will be bound to report it

just make sure you take lots of pcitures of it obstruction the driveway before it has mysteriously moved next door

no not de-restricetd , they have been de-criminalised, meaning if you want to appeal you go to civil court and not a mag court. Hence why you have private companies issuing parking tickets.

Still a criminal offence in south wales though.

sounds like his motor is blocked in, so nothing to push it with

or, failing that, go and find a mate with an old shed of a motor and park it right next to the drivers door

or clamp it

or let all the air out of the tyres

or, the best one i've found, is get a candle and write "don't park here again you cunt" on the windscreen

don't get a screwdriver and etch "wanker" into ever single panel and pane of glass though, it's cold outside and you may catch the sniffles

Jais, my printer did this, every morning people blocked him in (has was parked on teh street).

The worked at a near by factory and would park bumper to bumper. He popped to the factory and asked the guys to leave him room to get out, but they didn't.

One morning he comes out, blocked in, reverses into the car behind raming it down the road, and then goes to pull away, his towbar hooked and he pulled the bumper of the car behind clean off!!

He got out and the guy was sitting in his car!!! Dave so so mad still he screamed 'don't fookin block me in you c*NT' and the bloke just nodded and stayed in his car.

realistically yuo have to be a bit careful as it's outside your misses house, do you want retaliation shite on her door step?

Another idea is to prixstick a few sheets of A4 to his windowscreen, then write 'No doubt you spend the same amount of time cleaning this off as I have spent waiting to get off my drive'

or print off a fake 'official obstruction warning Notice' looking notice and slap it on the screen, like the police do with untaxed vehicles, then claim to know nothing about it!!

get a car with a towbar or a transit, and drag the fucker out the way, if he complains, tell him simply you need in the driveway... or, as beefy said... trolley jack, and haul the cunt round from the rear axle, we do it all the time in the bodyshop for to sort things out for parking cars at night if we're packed... perfect. best if theres 2 of you there though.

worst case, bumper to bumper and block the cunt in, then he'll know how it feels!

How can anyone be so stupid as to block someones drive!!!!! Id be door knocking and if still no luck, id get the cutters out and snip his handbrake cable. Push it out the way, brick under wheel, job done. He/she wont be doing it again in a hurry.

Some people amaze me on how thick/inconsiderate/stupid they can be.

most of them are not stupid or thick, just plain old selfish! A sign of the times sadly!

Its especially bad at xmas as people seem to think they have a right to park where they want so they can shop. We get the selfish cunts round here (2mins walk from city centre shops). there is PLENTY of pay and display parking but the cunts are toooo skin flint to want to pay so they illegally block the residents parking areas/alleys knowing this time of year that the wardens are too busy to make it to the residential area. i leave abusive messages on thier car or trolley jack them. There are several hundred paydisplay spaces within 100 yards! Yet the cunts wont use them!

I've had this a few times over my driveway too.

Someone parked an Astra across it once. I was about to go to work but couldn't get out the drive. Knocked on a few doors and finally got hold of the person. 'Fuck off pal, I'm trying to get some sleep' and SLAM goes the door in my face!!!! Now it doesn't take much for me to lose my rag and banging on the door repeatedly didn't work so it was time for the jack under the back end and move it round trick!! Lol!

I got to work and a couple of hours later, my dad phoned me and said there was a guy banging on our door and shouting through the letter box about his car and that he was gonna do this and do that etc.......!

Went round to this cocks door after work and he didn't even answer the door and never had another problem!! Bellend!!

does your gfs driveway have a lowered kerb
