I've been buying my lad a couple of packs of MATCH ATTAX cards every time I go to the shop to put in his album I bought him the other week (he's nearly 4).

There are 6 cards in a pack and 444 to collect but it's getting to the stage now where we usually already hav 3 or 4 out of the 6 so I have loads of spares/swaps. Does anybody else on here buy them and would you be interested in swapping some?

I have been tempted to wait outside of a middle school of a lunchtime and swap with the other school kiddies but my gut insticnt tells me it might not bode well with the other parents

I'll get a list knocked up of what we have spare and send it over to those of you who may be interested.

www.macattax.com, my step son collects them he has loads of swaps I'll find out what he has, but we now just buy the ones he needs of the above site as you just buy the ones you want, I'm sick of seeing them now they every where in the house lol

I have found a website which sells all of the cards individually but some of the cards I need are a quid plus, I thought it would be more economical to swap them with users on here for the price of a first/second class stamp, lol.

If I'm really struggling before next seasons lot come out I think I'll just have to pay through the nose for the ones we need.

That's the site I have been looking at, would like to only really buy from them as a last resort as the majority of the ones we need are atleast 50p each! I've just counted the cards in his folder and the spares we have, I've already bought 350 and atleast 100 of those are no good to us

I remember having the stickers when I was a kid and my old man used to bitch about buying them then, kinda see where he was coming from now though, lol. Still, don't think I ever managed to complete a sticker album.

dont know if anyone has noticed but the book aint big enough to hold all the cards, its
about 2 pages short lol.

oh and dont forget theres 7 limited edition cards and 1 trophy card to collect aswell
thats not mentioned in the back of the book.

 

I'm not bothered so much by the limited edition ones as like you say, they're not on the list. As long as all the pockets are filled in the book I will die a happy man.

I'll show this to me lad, he's recently started selling/buying on ebay, and from freinds, quite a little arthur daley!!
He's more into model cars these days, he got the arse though when I refunded a car he had accidentally misdescribed as 1/10 scale when it wasn't that scale, but this is what the buyer wanted, I offered the buyer 1/2 his money back which he agreed to, but me lad didn't!!

ive had 3 kids collecting these last season, i got so feed up with buying packets and needing none of them, i went to my local newsagent and payed £40 for a whole box of them, we completed all 3 albums and i got my money back selling the swaps on ebay.

for £27, then he wants £80 for all the hundred club cards and £80 for all the MOTM cards.

I've updated the "Need" list and will PM a few of you later to see if we can get some trades going, I've stopped buying them from the shop now.
