certain models have 1234 as the default password and admin as the user...if not google the model of the router and you should find it.. then just look for user manuals it has the default for the model you're using

try:
admin
admin
or:
admin
*no password, click in the box and press return*
Daz nailed it though, what is the brand and model and we can go from there.

Connect your laptop to the router with a cable (make sure laptop wireless is off and ethernet is properly connected, internet works etc), then go into your internet browser and type in 192.168.1.1
This should open up your router settings, you may need user name and password, as said, some are admin, some are root, all depends on the make and model of your router......

Reset your router to the factory settings by holding in the reset button, then google the username and password for your particular router.

you need the WEP or WPA passphrase, more than likely is also on the back of the router
probably a series of capital letters and numbers
the username and password everyone else is referring to is to getting to the router firmware via a web interface, which would allow you to access the security settings and change the said passphrase to something more memorable.

ok what you are stating is the MAC address, what you need to do is get an ethernet cable and plug a laptop directly into the router
once you have done this you need to open an internet explorer and into the address bar http://192.168.1.1/
or
http://192.168.0.1/
then it should throw up the admin page for the router, enter username and password more than likely will be
admin
password
or something similar to what other have suggested.
then you need to navigate to the security section and check what your WEP/WPA pass phrase is.
or
if all else fails you will need to reset the router to factory settings by holding down the reset for 5seconds.

If that is the case then just reset the router to the factory settings as I said above and it will go back to the default numbers written on the router itself.

Who is your ISP?
Bearing in mind, some ISPs have modified the actual firmware on the router itself and normal default usernames and passwords wont work.
But doing a hard reset should reset it back to the passkeys on the sticker...
If it doesnt, then you might need to call CS, as some have said that its a major security risk having the admin password on a sticker on the AP.
Just my £0.02
