traders insurance is good until you try and claim, im submitting all the paperwork they want this week, ie proof of trading, luckily enough a do run a valeting company and sell a few cars as well but for people with traders insurance that are not trading could be a problem.

So sorry for you mate, thieving jealous scum bags!! But dont let them put you off getting another, it will never replace the one youv lost but you gotta get another!!In regards to people thinking of getting a Tracker, i think this is a wise move, ive got 1 in my cupra r and although it doesnt lower my insurance, its a little piece of mind, and gives the possibility that if u can get on to the tracker company quick enough, You might just get the car back in 1 peice!

The only downside i can see with a tracker is that if you get the car back more or less in 1 piece then its down forever more as stolen and recovered?..
Would you insurance cover you for the loss in value if you sold it?? I doubt it somehow but maybe i am wrong.

All very well if the police are willing to recover if, which IIRC they wouldn't all allegedly of course
It would put me off getting another one too

Sad mate definitley not somat you could wish on anyone.
I had an uninsured series 2 stolen of my drive at 12 in the afternoon while at work, by 8 oclock found out who it was and where he lived , so paid a little visit to his dads house with a few nice folks, 2 days later no car but the ££££ were in my pocket.
Hope your insurance give you what it was worth. Dont let this put you off buying cars you want otherwise we would all be miserable f***ers

At the end of the day if its your pride and joy even if it was slightly damaged i personally would want it back, wether i would keep it or not is another story.Besides would an insurance company componsate you fully for a highly modifed vehicle? perhaps not?
