i used to buy them excellent condition second hand for 50 quid or less,i have had loads of 4 spoke rs wheels and have one now but my 3 spoke rs one does it for me,feels much better turning faster.
i reckon its just over 200 quids worth but 1 slight mark from keys or a birds sharp nails and its worth loads less imo.

I got offered one of these 6 month ago, in a new unopened box, including boss for 200...only reason i didnt buy it is my car isnt worth it!...anyone trying to sell a stering wheel for 500 sheets is a rip off merchant!

Love these posts.

Your only getting ripped off if you buy it and then it turns up and its not as described.

otherwise its simply just more than you want to pay or value it, so dont buy it - its called a free market. Its not as if someone is going to die just because they cannot afford to pay the high asking price of a steering wheel.

Whover actually buys that will pay a price they think is fair, and will get exactly that they expected when its delivered.

I am not the seller but have bought from them in the past, I have met the seller and they are well known for their new RS parts stock - I was more than happy with the item I bought and the price I paid, the item I bought is still in its box and now sells for at least a £100 more than I paid for it only a year ago.

Like the song says, if its a mint or new RS part "the only way is up" as Ford have failed to support its older models for years with parts supply and thats not going to change, so if you want a moan then slate Ford themselves.

FPMSL at folk claiming to have bought them for £100-£120....IN YOUR DREAMS

an unused boxed one is worth way over £200 in todays climate.

I do know someone who has about ten of these in the same condition in his loft

If some idiot wants to pay 500 quid then i guess it is worth it ultimately.....but judging by the response on here that won't be many people lol, fair play to the guy for trying it on but it does say 'offers' too mind!

no tony far from a **** he used he’s brains and brought a lot of stock back in the 80s-90s when you could by these 10 to a penny. Only to sell on in 20 years to make some money its call good business sence. If people went to pay them prices then so be it.what i know now if i new back then i would of done the same ten fold

What somethings worth and what someones prepared to pay are 2 different things.

Its a lot of money and imo anyone paying that for a steering wheel is off their trolley but on the other hand you wont find many like that and money can always be replaced, 20 odd year old mint boxed steering wheels might never come up for sale again..
