thought id share these pics to warn the dangers of running too much nos on stock internals
rebuilding the new block now but this time with steel rods!
was 200bhp + progressive 50 shot

ouch, is that a combination of heat, boost, NOS and excessive revs all in one?

chip on here, little while ago was after pistons & rods which had failed, he might be interested in them for his lectures/ magazine articles he does

yes was very loud and loads of smoke came out of the bonnet, happened seconds after changing into 4th gear. lucky oil never went on the turbo and manifold
i remember offering chip but i think he wanted components damaged from det etc

Ops i did the same to my xr3i but that was totaly standard.I red lined the engine and it blew up.

Still haven't spotted you round my ends yet Gav...I'll be sure to look out for a trail of engine bits and oil though where did it happen?

A10 was fucked up night, went cinema and watched bruno at finchley warner village was very pissed off at how crap the film was so decided ill go for a spin in the fiesta to cheer me up and my night went from bad to worse ffs

so now in the space of a month on the A10 i blew a hole in the gear box, then 5 holes in the engine block. fantastic

Bought a zetec s is that snapped the conrod on half right through block front and back ill find picture.
